Balingup - Heritage Country Cheese Wine and Food Fair

On Sunday 29th October 2006, Heritage Country Cheese will hold its 4th Annual Food and Wine Fair. The property will be open from 10.00am to 5.00pm, where visitors can taste all varieties of cheeses in addition to exploring numerous gourmet food, wine, cider, fresh produce and quality craft and various other stalls.

There will also be fantastic live music by John Wilson and his band, rides and entertainment for the children and traditional cheese games, including the famous 'cheese rolling' competition, where visitors compete to roll a ball of cheese down a hill the furthest.
Numerous food stalls, morning and afternoon teas, cappuccino, ice creams and tempting delights from local business operators will be available all day and there are prizes to win throughout the day, including a giant hamper in a raffle.

This is the one day a year Heritage Country Cheese throws open its doors and gives visitors the opportunity to see how the cheeses are made with factory inspections and video demonstrations of cheese making, as well as the chance to taste and buy some exclusive cheeses that are made especially for the fair and only available on the day. Entry cost is only a gold-coin donation of which all proceeds go to charity.
