Balingup - Small Farm Field Day

The Balingup Small Farm Field Day held every April is a phenomenally popular, well-visited event.  With attendances of over 10,000 people, this event, run efficiently by the townsfolk of Balingup is focussed on the ‘hobby farmer, and small landholder, giving these people the opportunity to sell and display their wares, crops and animals, and providing the opportunity for those who would like to embrace this lifestyle to learn more.

Farm visits, demonstrations and talks are a feature of the day, as well as a plethora of stalls and displays from farm suppliers, fencing contractors and all things imaginable to do with farms.

Entertainment runs throughout the day, with fashion parades interspersed with music and fun for the children.

‘There are plenty of food and drink vendors, and, true to its origins, the Small Farm Field Day encourages home- and locally made food.  All in all this is a true country event and you will be very sorry if you miss it!!.
