Donnybrook - Apple Festival

The Donnybrook Apple Festival is held biannually in the well-known apple town of Donnybrook.  The Festival was developed to celebrate those crispy apples that grow in abundance in this area.  The next Donnybrook Apple Festival will be held in at Easter on March 22 and 23,  2008.

Not only do the apples feature at the Festival, but you can also enjoy agricultural displays, an abundance of food and market stalls, wine tastings, farm animals and lots of fun events for both young and old alike.

The Apple Festival traditionally holds a float parade through the centre of the town and there is also the Apple Festival Ball to look forward to, where the Apple Ambassador will be crowned.

A wonderful event with a long history, the Apple Festival is not to be missed.
