Donnybrook - Local attractions

Donnybrook is well known as the centre of the apple growing region of Western Australia.  Did you know that the Lady Williams apple was first developed in this district?  Apart from orchards the area is characterised by great scenic drives, walk trails, and an interesting history that few know about, including a gold rush!!

The Donnybrook area is also host to a growing number of wineries, with rows of grape vines becoming a familiar sight vas you drive around the area.  Keep an eye out for those cellar door sales!
